In store data
The label field usually shows the artist’s name or a name the artist chose.
Releases often start on the platform’s own app and then go out to other stores.
ISRCs are usually issued by the platform on the artist’s behalf.

Self-released. The label line is a name the artist chose, so it says nothing about the distributor.
Common questions
Paste the song’s Spotify or TikTok link into Pulse and it shows the distributor. By hand, check the source in the Spotify credits, then the ℗ line, the ISRC registrant code and the UPC prefix. See the full guide.

TikTok SoundOn is a platform distributor, so artists who release through it are usually self-released. Check the ℗ line for “under exclusive license to” to be sure.
